Dear comsumer affairs:
I registered gopayment.com—a bankcard company 2 years ago, with so call Pay-as-you-go plan. Per commerical, it was supposed to be free monthly fee, and I just have to pay 2.75% swipe rate of transaction fee and key entered rate 3.75% of transaction fee
I had this for almost one year without any issue until reecently, Chase told me Intuit Inc actually started to charge me 19.95/month x 8 months for A account, since 11012012. And charged me 14.20/ month x1 month since 06032013 for B account.
I made a appeal email and calls several times to intuit inc. They either played dumb about answering me, and refused to correct that unauthorized transaction, or put me hold for a long time. For example, I faxed at 8184500528 and talked to at phone number 8005589558-61276. Valerie sounds no way they would correct the mistake and pay me the difference between these payasyougo and monthly payment plans.
Here is copy and paste of my letter I sent to them via fax and certified mail

Dear Gopayment.com 6/12 6:14 PM
Thank for providing us such a good service.
The following reasons mendate to completely close my account
I opened 2 accounts before, one of them with email address [email protected]
I signed up a flexible plan that I only get charged when I swiped the card. I have never signed up for the monthly fee or transactions fee plan ever.
Someone charged me monthly fee for 2 accounts by mistake since Nov last year. Please refund me back and correct them.
(I always have the contract that let you charge me by percentage not monthly when I swipe the card, in other word, if I did not charge client, with that plan, I do not have to pay monthly fee or service fee.)
Sincerely
Edward Chen, MD
