On October 25 I mistakenly replied to a document I took to be from the Council for Exceptional Children in Arlington, VA, USA.
The document appeared to be a request for company information for free listing in a convention directory.
In December I received invoice# F404219/190506, dated 07.12. from Construct Data for $1717.00. The invoice was accompanied by a copy of the document I had thought was being sent to CEC.

I have sent numerous emails telling them that we know that they are a scam and they will not receive payment. They continue to email our accounting department to inform them that we are legally required to pay them.

I have received multiple threats regarding interest charges, payment required and I want it to stop. I tried to use a form letter and that didn't work. What can we do to stop them??? HOrrible company, not ethical at all.

Construct Data has filed late payment credit reports and latest bill threatens legal action.
