A young college student came to my door clamming he was selling magazines in order to help him receive points for a contest that was being held to go to Europe. He also claimed that some of the portions would help the soldiers over seas. I ordered a year of muscle and fitness for $71, wrote a check and off he went. The check processes through and I wait for my magazines to come in. A month passes by and I don't think much of it because he claimed it would take at least 30 days for it to go through. I wait for the begging of the next month and still nothing. I try to contact muscle and fitness but they have no record of my order on file. I then look at the reciept he gave me and see that there is little to no information on the company except for the name and p.O. Box. No number to contact, no website, and to top it off the disclosure says NO REFUNDS, NOT AFFILIATED WITH ANY MILITARY OR LOCAL SCHOOLS. There is really nothing I can do because their disclosure pretty much covers their ass and says NO VERBAL AGREEMENTS RECOGNIZED!
