Although I didn't pay any money over to this company I'd like to add to the list of complaints about this company. I too filled out the form on LinkedIn for inclusion into a free directory listing. Several days later I received a call from a woman called Katrina Ryan. Like everybody else she kept me on the phone for half an hour asking questions. Then she asked for my credit card details. I asked her why they offered a free service on their ad but were not charging for the service. She immediately dropped the price down from a Gold Membership to a trial membership. I told her that I still didn't want to give my details so she dropped the price again to a not for profit price of $99.00. I told her that I'd like to see information on their company before I purchased anything. She then told me the website was down as it was a public holiday in the States (I live in Australia) but by then she realised I knew it was a scam and she hung up.
Be very wary as they sounded quite professional and it would be easy to be fooled. However, never give your credit card details over the phone, particularly for a service that you have not yet seen.
