My bestfriend and I saw this ad on craigslist and thought it would be perfect for us since weve been wanting to get out of our houses for a while. We emailed the Woods and told them our situation and how we would like to be their new tenants for their house. We exchanged emails from the start of Saturday, April 13 until this afternoon Sunday, May 26. We have been emailing them since the beginning, and we have signed all the documents needed to move into the house. Today on May 26, I came over the conclusion that we had been scammed out of $1,000 that we have sent them to complete the rental for the house. The last email sent to my best friend and I was to secure that the keys got here safe we would need to pay a security fee of $1,300 to get the keys shipped to us. It doesn't cost that much to send something like that.
