I received text messages from this number asking about some items I had for sale on my apartment's website - they have a classified ads section. They wanted to get something for some woman's birthday (no specifics on who they were, who she woman was, just mentioned "her birthday"). When I told them to look at my blog where all the items were listed with descriptions, pictures, and prices, the conversation became very heated very quickly and escalated into threats to my life. They threatened to kill me with a knife, that they were coming for me, and asked if I'd heard of the Boston bombs, because that was what would happen to me next. Seeing this, I now see that it's a total scam and I'm glad I've reported it to the police.
