Someone who identified them self as Roger Daniels from Wold PC Solutions called my father to tell him his computer warranty was expired and that his computer would stop functioning unless he paid them for a lifetime warranty. The caller identified his company as World PC Solutions and provided the phone number of 866-539-8803. The caller then told my father to go to his PC and browse to a website at www.mmmyyymmm.com where he wanted him to enter payment information for the warranty; which he did not do.
Indications are that browsing to the website may have infected, or attempted to infect, the computer with viruses.
