Puzzle teething toy! Cut baby's gums - tomme tippee puzzle teethe

I would like to say how mortified I am that I have purchased a tommy tippee puzzle teether only to find my son with cut gums bloody all over his face and the teether as all the lose plastic on it had cut his mouth open! I'm absolutely appalled and want someone to get back to me as soon as possible! He cried his eyes out and filled two tissues with blood! Other parents need to be careful as this is what the teether is designed for!
