I responsed to an online offer of a free liftglow sample costing £1.99 post.
2 weeks later i noticed that a further payment of £84.71 had been taken out of my account. I called the company up who claim that it was in their terms and conditions. I petioned this as i never signed or ticked any Ts & Cs of any sort. I asked for a refund which they werent willing to provide. I called my bank to recall the payment and i was told that they put me on some sort of automatic subsription which will take money out of my account every month or so. My bank cancelled this and am waiting for my refund.
Please dont fall victim to this sort of scam.
