On April 2, my wife was shopping JC Penneys and a survey popped up offering a cross as the prize for taking a survey if you only paid $5.99 for shipping charges. Our special needs grandaughter loves crosses so my wife decided to do the survey. She asked me to come and look if there was any catches and I searched for the terms and conditions (I know that trick) and there were none. The ad said Total Cost: $5.99. On April 23 I noticed a $98 charge to our Visa account and immediately called the company and of course they said the terms and conditions box had been checked and sent a website showing their "terms & conditions" signing you up for jewelry to be sent. The website was not the one we took the survey nor had we seen it at all. The company refuses to return the money. They mistakenly sent us to a wesite that sold watches under another name, so it's a scam over many areas. I am calling the attorney generals office in Burbank and requesting they go to this website as proof it is a scam.
