The person who had the above named email address and phone number had a listing on craigslist: home for rent-$700/mth for 3/2. Things seemed to be normal in the beginning. He asked for the deposit of $700. Then he was supposed to send the keys and paperworkd via dhl. Did not receive anything. This person was saying all the right things that led me to believe he was legit. The next he stated he needed another payment because his lawyer told him it would be risky to only take a deposit. Me being desperate to get into this place since i needed a place anyway, believe what was being relayed to me. I sent another $700 two days later (4/29). I did this and i was told the info should be at my doorstep by the end of the day... Nothing. Once this happened, things started to fall completely apart. This person said all the right things that led me to believe i was going to finally have a place for me and daughter. Of course, that was not the case. This person asked for more money after he aleady received all i had on me until my next payday. I declined sending anything more funds and asked for my money back. Of course, i was just being promised i would still be moving into this house... Well, needless to say, i was being scammed the whole time and i am now out of $1516. I'm sooo sick right now. Can anyone please help me get my money back??
