Arthur Blitz of the law firm Shandell, Blitz, Blitz, Bookson & Glass has for the last 5 years been alternately not paying court ordered child support/spousal support or short-changing his daughter's court ordered payments ranging from $800/month to $2,000/month. Shame, Shame, Shame on you!
He is currently in arrears of approximately $48,000.00 Because of his position as an attorney he has been able to threaten and intimidate his ex-wife and basically thumb his nose at the court-ordered support. His answer, when asked to pay what he owes is "Get a job!"or "Learn how to budget!"
At the time of the divorce he volunteered to pay for dental bills beyond x-rays and fillings (he owes $1,800. For his daughter's root canals, extractions, etc.) Because of his abusive & neglectful behavior towards his daughter, she has been in therapy since 1997. He has yet to pay a bill for that!
Arthur Blitz is so cruel that, while his daughter's new stepfather was dying of cancer (without the benefit of insurance) and the family was in extreme financial distress he chose to not send a penny in child support for 7 months!
This is being posted out of desperation and, yes, to bring his actions to the light of day!
Arthur Blitz seems to have no difficulty paying for a luxury car and a garage on 40th Street in New York City. Arthur also has a house in Dingman's Ferry, PA, which he demanded his then-wife and young daughter move out when a divorce seemed imminent.
Arthur seems to have no difficulty paying for expensive vacations and, most recently a wedding reception and honeymoon to his third wife. When he visits his daughter he is able to buy gift items, but the court-ordered child support is not in his budget.
When his ex-wife started legal proceedings in March of 1998, he decided to halt payments of the court-ordered spousal support. I suppose he figured if he didn't give support, then the case would not go forward. It worked. He owes over $10,000.in arrearages for spousal support.
