I called a phone number of a website that purported to be Microsoft tech support, as I couldn't get Outlook to open. They looked at my computer (yes, I naively granted them access) and said "Oh My God, your computer has so many problems" and convinced me the only way to fix it right now was to buy "international anti-hacking software) for $299.00. I did charge this amount to my visa card (which showed up on Visa as $301.99). Three hours later they called back and said my computer was "fixed". After a few days I could not open Outlook and viruses showed up all through my computer. —Devi Tandavan
