Phoned, I thought, gateway tech support and realized only after they assuredme they could get my computer running and requested a 50 dollar paymentthat they were not gatewayand that in fact they were charging me 250 dollars for a one year membership. They were unable to help me resolve myissue but told me it was a hardware issue and therefore they had done what they said and diagnosed my computer. Ie no refund. I find it unbeleivable that a company knowingly misrepresents themselves asanother company to loot thier customers andsomehow are not prosecuted. The link i used to get their number was gateway. Techsupport. Something. I am so angry at myself for falling for their schtick, I am usually morecareful
