I contacted unclaimed money discovery and was told over the phone that they found money in my name after giving them my last known address. I was told that an agent would be assigned to my case and would contact me in 3 days. I received a phone call to contact them and did and was told that the State was holding up the funds, I was also told that the agent would disclose the amount found, that never happened. After several days I contacted them only to be told that they submitted a claim form to my email; I checked my email and there was a claim from a Walmart in my home town in the amount of 0.05 cents. I called them back claiming that why send me a claim form for an amount of. 05 cents and that I was completed unhappy with their services. I was then transferred to the customer service department for an immediate refund and the lady on the other end stated that she would do another search and would get back to me in a couple of days... Well, it's been 4 days and no word and plus I was then asked to provide them with my social security number and they would do an indepth search... I am now afraid that i have been scammed.
