I have had Farmers full coverage Ins for years and never had to use them. No tickets on my record. A couple of months ago I hit a car in a parking lot. No one was injured. My ins. Cost was $721.10 for 6 months. Since I had the minor accident the new rate they just informed me is $1,342.20 for six months. $621.10 more every six months now. I did call and tell them I did not realize if I had to use them they would have me paying the cost all back over a few years. Evidently they can charge what they want. I am sure they will do nothing about it but want to warn others. I would use caution when buying car ins. One advertises if you have one accident they will not raise your rates. Wish I had called them.
