On march 20th I had a drive test apptmnt. At 2pm. I had arrived 5 minutes early with a friend who was loaning me the use of his car for the driving test. There was a very light misting rain throughout the day, and we waited an hour and a half before the examiner finally showed up. He had a very heavy Asian accent, and it was difficult to hear him. He rudely demanded my friend to get out of his car, and when my friend answered, "oh, I'm the owner providing the car for the test, " the examiner said, " I don't care, get out of the car, you want me to call the police?" My friend is older, but he got out quickly despite the rudeness. During the drive test, the examiner paid almost no attention to me at all, and just kept flipping through his papers. The test itself was less than 3 minutes! He failed me because he claimed I didn't merge in a bike lane. I did merge. I had a license in Michigan and I have been driving since I was 12 on a farm. After 20 years of driving my driving record is spotless. Not even a parking ticket! Was I supposed to bribe him or something?
