I contacted mytechhelp.com for a one time only tech support service two months ago. They made multiple attempts to try to convince me to purchase service plans that i declined to take and made it very clear that I only wanted to pay for a one time service. They charged me 99.99 for the one time fix. I made this payment with a debit card. Today there was a debit charge for 19.99 from my checking account from mytechhelp.com. I called to dispute the charges and literally had to argue for 30 minutes to have the charge refunded. The customer service rep said she just couldn't understand why I wouldn't want to protect myself by having 24 hour tech support and being covered by the plan. After I explained that her only concern should be refunding the unauthorized transaction to my account she told me that was a foolish decision! I asked to speak with her supervisor. After being on hold for 20 minutes the same rep returns to the line and said her supervisor was in a meeting but she refunded my 19.99 so my situation has been dealt with. I said when will your supervisor be available I will call back and the rep replied "lady you stil l want to talk to the supervisor? This is crazy!" The supervisor got on the phone and was as unprofessional as the rep. I'm disgusted! She offered me a service plan for 19.99 a month free for the first month. Are they insane??? The debit card I used for the onetime service was to an account that I don't use often just to pay certain bills. The withdrawal caused insufficiency in my account and after fees for overdrawal and a bounced check I am out an additional 100.00. They had no right to make that withdrawal and I am very angry however being counseled by their customer service rep took the cake! Mytechhelp is in the buisness of financial planning I guess! Unbelievable! Very unprofessional! I better see that refund in my bank ASAP!!!
