I was scammed $730.00 by a group claiming to be working for the Federal Government Grant of the United States of America. They claimed that the US Government has chosen me to receive grant money (that is tax free). I spoke to three different individuals who claim to work for the Federal Bank in New York and the US Government Grant Department. These are the numbers people I have spoken to, First was Kevin Foster (202) 609-7042, who told me that I am going to receive a grant for $ 8,400us, but first I have to go to a moneygram nearest me to make a payment/send money to a Chairty for $210.00 and then I will receive my grant. I went ahead and paid the money, then someone from the bank called from this number (315) 352-1357 and said that the money will be deposited in my account in 15 to 20 minutes. That never happened. I called to see what is going on & the I had to go to another moneygram & deposit $499.00 so they would be able to send me the money via western union. I did that and was told by 7pm the money would be on my card and to call the next day by 11am. I called as no money was deposited. I left 3 messages & finally received a call from Kevin Foster stating that I would receive a call from the Federal Reserve Bank in Washington, DC. I received a call from (202) 609-7749 Peter Smith from the Federal Reserve Bank and that I needed to go to a western union and transfer $849.00 and then he will release the funds to me plus the $ 849.00. I didnt have that amount. Then he called me later that day to see if I had the money. I said no I dont have it. I told him he was scamming me & I want my money back. Told me I will not get it back & that this wasnt a scam then hung up. Please Help Stop these people from ripping off poor or single parents who cant afford to be Ripped off.
