My wife bought a pair of boots online unknowing of the membership she joined at the time of purchase. English is not her language and she was not able to understand the company charges $39.95 every month unless you tell them by the 5th of the month that you want to skip.
We didn't notice until I started looking at bank statements and noticed a recurring fee that was being taken out on a monthly basis. This is very deceptive. I went back to their website and did see some very fine print explaining it but they offer no monthly notices they send no bills there's no notice that they're taking money and my wife is not receiving any services or any products in return. It is a ripoff.
