I am Canadian living in Uganda, East Africa.in the beginning of January, before I left Canada for Uganda, I received a phone call from this company whereby the representative assumed I was signing up with them for a free promotion and a monthly fee. As the conversation progressed it became clear that the representative had scammed me into paying a monthly fee of $17.83. I asked to speak with her supervisor and made it clear that I was not signing up for anything and that she MUST accept that I am not signing up NOR giving my permission to take money out of my account.
Originally I had been given the idea that I was only paying $3. For a gift certificate. Even though the supervisor agreed that she had, in fact, cancelled any and all assumed agreements on their part, they have been taking $17.83 out of my visa account without my consent. I am outraged.
