I received a call regarding renewal of Soap Opera Digest. I asked him his name -James Isaac Smith stated he was with Publishers Service Office of New York. He gave me the customer service number of 877-351-0728 He offered a renewal for Soap Opera Digest one year, get next year free -104 issues for the price— which the amount he did not give me. He read back my bank account routing no., name of bank and address. I gave him my check number but told him not to fill the order if he could not tell me the expiration date of the magazine (suspicioning fraud). He hung up. I thought that was over and done with til I got my bank statement showing the electronic entry of 142.76 to "The Indentured Servants" in memo showed Soap Opera Digest. I called the number, they identify as Publishers Service Office hold for next available agent YOU WAIT AND THEN THE VOICE SAYS GOOD BYE. No agent ever comes to the phone...
