On searching Google, in addition to the legitimate, Home Office Passport & Identity Service run by the UK Government, I came across 2 of these sites who are 'available on premium rate numbers'! One 'wanted payment', 'chased me' for it via email - I did NOT pay as suspected they are scammers! I have informed both these scammers (one even told me he was 'in the Home Office'! I am & have reported them. I duly phoned the correct 0300 Government Department no., who are already aware of these 'scam companies'! Been assured the Government is trying to close these down. Beware on searching for 'help with passports'. The correct no. Starts with 0300 do not call any premium rate numbers!!
