Hi! My name is Deborah and I can be reached at (Personal Information Removed). I need help bad or advice on what to try next. On January 8th my husband and I went to GTE Federal Credit Union and got a credit card for 6% interest to pay off Wells Fargo Visa Platinum Card that was 21% interest. At the same time we paid of a Mastercard. Wells Fargo never got their money and I have a copy of the check front and back where somehow Capital One got the check made out to Wells Fargo and they cashed it. GTE, Wells Fargo, and myself have tried on numerous occassions to resolve this matter. Capital one will not help or cooperate and in the mean time my credit is now ruined and Wells Fargo is harassing me as they want and deserve their money. I have all the transactions, copies of the check, faxes from the bank trying to make all this right. Capital One cashed the check on January 14th and now Wells Fargo instead of being paid off is three months behind. And no I don't have a Capital One account. I dont know where else to turn. I now have late fees that have accured and credit ruined and I need someone to please help me!!! Please!
