I replaced the battery on my h-p laptop. Serial (Personal Information Removed). I had been lucky about a year ago. I had to have the same problem repaired. Lucky, because it was still under a warranty. I stopped using it because. I just had a feeling that this problem with the video card. Would happen again. It looks like yesterday. Friday the 22nd. Was the day. I started it and then before I knew it. The lap top went blank. There is no way. I can afford to replace the whole Motherboard. The last repair price was $400.00. Dollars. They, did have a reputation of being a great product. I will not be replacing this one that cost $800.00 plus dollars with a hp product. I got a total of 2 and a half years use. I never thought of H-P as a throw away product. Very disappointed. I haven't contacted the company as yet. I can only imagine what there expecting me to spend. Either, the video card is defective and should be recalled. Or the quality of the Mother board is not like H-P. Was known for.
