Without any knowledge or contact with anyone from Clearview Energy, this company initiated the action to become my electrical supplier at a rate of 2 cents higher than my current supplier.
My current supplier, Constellation, received a stop notice from my BGE and is in the process of canceling my contract as my supplier, at which time I will incur cancellation fees.
I spoke to a Clearview Energy Customer Service Manager who said that they have had problems with their sales people submitting false contracts. As yet, Clearview cannot produce any documentation to prove that I initiated a contract with them. When making follow-up calls I'm advised that they are still researching the situation.
Neither Clearview, Constellation, or BGE can/will take any action to correct the situation.
I've filed complaints with the Maryland Public Service Commission and he Maryland Attorney General Consumer Affairs Division.
I don't know where this will lead but I do know that I am in for a long painful experience.
