A Clearview solicitor came to our door and told us that with Clearview we would pay a lower rate for electricity supply than we would with the local electric company, PEPCO. He offered a fixed rate for one year and said we could cancel at any time so we signed up. It turns out Clearview is charging us more than if we had kept PEPCO as our supplier and there is a $12.50 a month cancellation fee.
