My daughter is a big hockey fan but as a poor person has only been to one game in her life when a friend took her years ago. So her favorite team was playing nearby and I thought to get her a gift. I ordered 2 hockey tickets and was informed I would get delivery that day. The following day, after sending them multiple emails that the tickets didn't arrive and to please cancel the order. I was concerned that tickets would run out - the game is only 2 days away, and indeed, tickets were scarce by that time.
So I bought tickets elsewhere. It was then I discovered that StubHub had charged my bank account immediately after I place the order! When I contacted them again to ask why they would charge my account before any item was delivered or shipped I was completely ignored.
They not only refused to cancel the order, they refused to issue a refund. But I did get multiple emails saying that they were trying to contact the seller and would ship my tickets as soon as they could. And despite the fact I replied to each and every email that I did not want the tickets, would not accept them, I already purchased tickets from a reliable vendor, I was completely ignored except for them to say, "We are sorry for the inconvenience but there is nothing we can do, etc.." I did ask them if there was nothing you could do, why didn't you do what I originally requested instead of spending time and resources trying to find a flake seller? That got ignored as well.
I will never go to the StubHub website ever again. I would not recommend to anyone to ever go near StubHub. This was by far the absolute worst customer service experience I have ever encountered.
