I met this handsome gentleman on a single date site: "Christian Mingle.com". Which I had never done before but thought what the heck. Found David charming and his profile was very nice, thoughtful, considerate what he was looking for in a woman, had just lost his wife of cancer 6 years ago and was ready to meet someone new. We conversed on Mingle for a few days then he asked me to give him my personal email address so I did. We conversed daily thru emails or instant messengers. His lovely romantic emails hit a spot in my heart of emotions and I fell hard in love with him, talk about us being together and having a future. But we haven't met yet. This went on for several weeks and each day went by I was deeper in love with him. Then came the day I hadn't heard from him in 2-3 days and he finally replied that there was a tragic event at orpahnage in Africa that he had to go, attend to the kids and help rebuild, would be gone for a couple of weeks but promised me he would keep in touch. Now after the first few days of talking with him on Mingle I done a background check on him-he told me he was orginally from Oulu, Finland, lived there all his life just moved to America 3 years ago. Wasn't a U.S. Citizen but could become one when he married. He gave me his address and phone number which is in Cyprss, Texas but the birth dates didin't match, showed David C. Harvey and the David Harvey I was speaking to was David Briggitta Harvey born in 1956 not 1959. He was self-employed and done business with factories to get merchandise to companies. Romanced me to the moon and back, me being vulnerable and stupid fell head over heels in love. We had made plans to meet but then he left for Ghana, Africa to work to rebuild orphanage from a fire. (Which my daughter researced and said there hasn't been a fire with orphange since 2010) We corresponded by instant messenger and he would call me from caregiver house phone number. One night we were just talking then he asked me for my bank acct info and said he had a sponsor to help with the kids but sponsor was out of the country and to deposit money in my acct where David could get it. I said no I didn't feel comfortable doing that and besides use Western Union to wire the money directly to him. He seemed alittle upset and we ended up thru talking on messenger then A scam thing came up on my online page showing our conversation. After hanging up he called me directly on the phone asking why I didn't trust him. I said I trust you and believe in what you are doing but not trusting situation of someone else money etc.in my acct. I had informed David that I had done a background check and my daughter as well and relayed what the criteria was for a scam. Which everything up to this point fell right into place. He said all of that scam report he knew about was from a previous girl worker thatshe wanted him to marry her but he didn't want to cause she was on drugs. He said he wouldn't hurt me, loved me and I should trust and support him and believe him. I said I do and all I could do at this point in time would be pray that God help him and direct people, finances to help where he could come back home and we could meet and continue this relationship. He said the last time I talked to him on 3-5-13 he loved me and would call me tomorrow. Which at present time I haven't heard anything from him, which I am desperately hurt and heartbroken, to think I feel for such a nice Godly caring loving man to spend the rest of my life with to possible get scammed. I have emailed him 8-10 times pleading with him to respond and give me answers but no reponse so far. So its been approximately 5 weeks from time i meet him on mingle till now. So to the ones looking for love like the old song says looking for love in all the wrong places well internet is one of them. Trust, honesty, integrity just flew out the window thanks to MR. David Harvey. Just be careful who you think you can trust because you'll end up with your heart on your sleeve and someone will abuse it. May God's wrath be on the people who scam and hurt innocent victims. Don't be one like me. Trust out The window. On top of all this I fell in love with a man, gave my word, my heart and soul too like you would a spouse-can't eat, sleep constantly think about him to no avail=HURT!!!
