I responded to a free trial offer, scoured the web site for the catch and found none. I received the product as stated, paid the $2 or $3 postage and started using it. Yesterday I was billed $97.88 on my credit card. I did not authorize this. I called the number on my bank statement (866-853-1249) and fairly quickly I reached a customer service woman. She seems very scripted, though always polite and non-argumentative. She offered me 2 additional products as a courtesy gift which I declined and I asked her to credit my account. She finally said she could give me her employee discount which amounted to about a $35.00 credit.
Don't know if I'll ever see it. This outfit seems very sketchy to me. She referred to some "12 pt." fine print but I could never get on that web page - always an error. She read it to me and it stated that I had agreed to a 10 day trial and if I didn't cancel it then I had signed up as a member and agreed to a monthly charge of $97.88.
It is also very odd that the first thing one hears when the phone is answered is this: " If you are calling to cancel your membership, press 1." They must get many cancellations of "memberships."
Beware of this probable scam.
