I ordered what was supposed to be a free, risk-free 30 day trial of AuraVie 3 step skin care. I agreed to pay the S&H cost only.
The order confirmation email I received said nothing about having only 10 days from the order date to request a refund or cancel the 6 month membership of reacurring monthly charges I had no idea I had signed up for! I found all this out after a charge for $97.88, hit my account 17 days after my original trial order date, and called the customer service number given in the original order confirmation email.
The service was very rude, unprofessional and not at all helpful. After going back and forth over 30 minutes, I was finally able to get them to cancel the 6 month "membership" but they would not refund the $97.88, "Free" 30 day trial!
Also, I never checked any box or anything accepting any "terms or conditions" when submitting my trial order and when I questioned AuraVie on this, they simply said in a smug tone, "We don't have one of those. We don't have to have one." How can they get away with that and how come they aren't required to disclose their "terms and conditions" in the confirmation email?!?!?
I called my bank to see file a dispute and they told me that because I signed up for the trial through a 3rd party merchant (not AuraVie itself, which I was also unaware of), that there's nothing they can do. So frustrating!
