I was scammed as well, sunset publications billed me the first month for 99.90. A representative asked if my debit card ended in a certain four digit number and she had the exact last four numbers of my card. I tried to cancel but was told i couldnt on the first initial call. Sunset pub. Said they would send me a packet in the mail with all the info i needed to cancel, it is almost 3 months later and i still havent see a packet or magazine. I actually put a stop payment at my bank and canceled my debit card, received a new card and they still have been able to charge me. Twice in january for 49.95 and so far only once in february for 49.95. My bank and myself where both on the phone with sunset publications and they still wouldnt let me cancel. I had sunset publications take my card information out of their system and they proceeded to tell me i would still be billed by mail and if i dont send in payment my account would be sent to collections and reported on my credit report. I dont see how they can get away with this. If someone dont want your services we should be able to cancel any time. I was bullied into this contract and i want out!!! I was also told the first inital conversation was recorded, but the first 30 min. Where i was telling them i had no idea what they where or how i even signed up for the service and that i didnt want the services they where offering some how was not recorded. They recorded only the last part where you must agree to everything they say or they will start over. Needless to say, i had to start over 3 times.
