While visiting a website I was invited to participate in a brief survey. After which I was offered my choice of 1 of the free 3 gifts offered for just $5.98 to cover shipping and handling. I made my selection and proceeded to use my debit card to pay for the shipping and handling. I am on a very small pension ($399. Per month) so I am very careful about my money. Long story short, I almost had a stroke when I saw that there was a $98.00 hold on my account causing my account to be in the red. I thought and thought about where this $98 charge could be from, then I remembered the survey. This sent me to check the gift and sure enough there is the name of the company. It sure would have been nice to know that this "gift" is nothing more than a rip off. There was no paperwork with the item, nothing telling me that I had to return the item within a time frame without being charged the $98.
