When calling the number to make a reservation for a good friends wedding we made a reservation to attend. The number gave no indication of who we were calling, but they provided us a reservation at the required hotel. We found out later via the bride that the number to call was incorrect and that we should cancel the reservation with them and re-book through the hotel to get the proper dates and rate. She also informed us that another guest has lost over $150 through the same service. Our credit card was charged prior to the stay. The customer service department has told me repeatedly that they can cancel but that it is non-refundable. We were never notified at the point of sale that this room was non-refundable.
