Bikeberry has an area called "why shop bikeberry.com".in that area they tell you they will provide a DVD installation guide to complete the installation of the kit. The DVD installation is just a general walk through on the steps of installation and does not cover the detail troubleshooting required for correct installation. I later found out from others that this is basically worthless for a correct installation. They also state that "you will be covered for life! Have a problem? Give us a call or email us, we'll work together to solve the problem". Well this advertisement is misleading. When I called for help they say they can't help and I need to consult a mechanic. Nowhere on their web site to they tell the consumer that they will need to hire a mechanic to have the engine installed. The statements made by the customer service people are scripted i.E. "we are so sorry that you are having problems with the installation. We cannot help you because we are not there to see if the installation is correct. Please consult a mechanic". Refund the $237.00 to me. I gave them that amount of money and got nothing in return.
The fact is there are hundreds of people dealing with the same problem i am. Please visit the forum at Motoredbikes.com and you will read about all the problems these kits have and read about people purchasing these kits and having nothing but problems with them. On this site you will read about problems with the quality of the products i.E. (1) the CDI are defective a lot of the times (2) the clutch has to be adjusted (3) the carborator is so cheap you will need to spray it with carburator fluid to get it started (4) you may need to put gasoline in the spark plug to get the engine to turn over (5) you will need to cut the wire on the CDI and reattach it because it is usually defective when it is done at the factory (6) you will need to buy a new spark plug boot at an auto parts store because the one in the kit is poorly made (7) you have to treat the engine 'like a china doll' because it is so particular (8) you may need to pull start the bicycle behind a car or truck because it is hard to start the first time. The customer service at Bikeberry was no help at all and they do not
