B of A purchased MBNA bank and failed to notify me of this, or of the APR increases they placed on my account. The APR was so high that even if I paid more than my minimum, the penalties would be higher than what I was paying. I demanded assistance from the company, to which they gave me a reasonable rate and CLOSED The card. I took it only because I had no real choice in the matter because I would likely still be paying them to this day.
I have never denied any of the purchases made, nothing fraudulent on my end. But thanks to their ruthless tactics my credit is long since ruined. They can pony up the $ of where the card was when they decided to close it "out of the goodness of their hearts". They will NEVER have my business again - I will put my $ under a mattress before I put it in a B of A account.
