We were "cold called" by the above mentioned company in October. We told them we only had 1 credit card, and we paid the entire balance every month. Our credit card bill showed that on 11/1 we owed $792. To NTNL BKCRDMof Apache Junction, AZ. Peter Smith affirmed by telephone that since we only had one credit card which was paid in full monthly, we didn't even qualify for their services. As confirmation, I wrote a letter to Peter Smith, Concierge, Gilbert AZ address, confirming our request to cancel the contract for services. This was signed by my husband and myself, Thomas A. Todd and Carol R. Todd. We were told that"the request for a refund has been issued, and that we will receive a refund within 15-60 days." On Nov. 8, Dec. 18, Jan 30 we contacted them by telephone. We were told that "my supervisor will call back and help with the cancellation process, " or variations of this. On 2/12 we received a letter from Gilbert, AZ informing us that "National Bankcard Monitor, LLC is insolvent and has gone out of business and is dissolved."
