I have had a successful business in a flea market/swap meet in a semi-large city for 12 years now. I have seen many people who use SMC come and go over the years. They work really hard setting up their booths, spend a lot of money to buy merchandise and always quit after a few weeks. It really depresses me to see good, hard working people taken advantage of and have their hopes and spirits broken. Shoppers do not want to spend the amount of money required to make a profit on items that can be found at the dollar store. I have not used SMC, but I can speak for my experience first hand. DO NOT BUY INTO SMC! Go out and research the area you want to sell in.
Who shops there? Which group of people spend money? Find out who that is and cater to them. I really hope people who are thinking about getting into these infomercial businesses check out rip off.com before they give these companies a penny. Good luck to all
