Placed an order on what I just found out was a ficticious website called mymallstyles.com for MIA shoes - $38.00 via PayPal. Received no confirmation except payment sent from PayPal saying my payment went to [email protected] aka Zheng su, an unverified PayPal address.
Heard nothing. About end of December received a curious small package from China, I believe, containing a little bendable pencil. Thought it a mistake. January 16 received an unexplained refund for $38 and PayPal would tell me nothing despite my using them to do the transaction. Ticks me off they'd treat me like that. Despite the refund.
Now I'm finding my PayPal refund was from this person who upon googling apparently scammed many people and uses another email address (listed on my PayPal refund) [email protected].
All PayPal has listed besides what I've mentioned above is: Unique Transaction ID #3BA61503F54714240. As I was involved in a scam, they should have given me the information on who, what, where scammed me. I trust PayPal all the less because of this, especially as someone can just mail you an envelope and use that tracking to say your item has been sent. So under PayPal's policy they won't help you. Hopefully that is the scammers real name on either email so people can be warned.
