My wife and I bought meals that typically include a steak, vegetable and a starch ie. Potato. We were charged $3.95 and $4.95 respectively for the second side item. I have never gone to a non a la cart restaurant and had to pay for a second side item. Typically a balanced meal consists of the afore mentioned items. We were not informed of the added cost although the menu. Once I as informed, and i looked closer, the menu did note this. This is about principle! I paid almost $29.00 for a Kansas City steak. If a well balanced meal, per FDA should consist of those items, then they should simply say that the meal costs $34.00 and add the side. I think this practice is deceptive and should be altered.
