I have been following the HUD sale of a home for 3 months. Called HUD and was told three company names, one of which would be assigned the house to sale, and told to call these companies for when the sale of the house would start and that I would only have 10 days to bid on the house. I and my realtor called these companies every other day (at the most 3 days!) and were repeatedly told they did not have the listing. This house was sold on Feb. 3rd and even the listing agent on the PEMCO/HUD sign did not know of the listing!!!
Not an agent in Valdosta knew that this house was ready for offers!!! These people that bought it drove by, saw the sign, called their realtor who did not know of the listing, waited for him to come, looked at the house and bought it! PEMCO/HUD who had the house told us they did not have the listing but they sold it!!! The contact number on the sign (agent) did not know of it either!!! I was wronged!!! I have done everything I was told to do and did not get a chance at this house because of misrepresentation of this house by PEMCO/HUD!!
