DVRs are of poor quality. If you have a tech come to your house, you don't even get a new replacement DVR. Even if it's the fourth machine you want changed out in 2 1/2 years. I've had Mediacom come to my house more in that time than Comcast in 21 years!!! Why can't Mediacom fix this problem. I had techs come out over and over but nothing changes. I've called the corp. Number in New York while my tech was doing the service call but they had nothing to say that helped. Why can't this be fixed? I just want to record programs and have the program there to watch later. If I recorder the program, will it be there or a blank screen that's the million dollar question that nobody can answer. I just want a DVR that will record everytime not every other third or fourth program.
