I had an agreement to pay $29.99 per month for TV service for 2 years, after 1 year my bill went up to over $60.00. I called numerous times to get it straightened out and they always had different reasons and excuses as to why I was getting higher bills, and insisted I pay the higher bills. I kept sending my agreed $29.99 as I was assured would be the price for 2 years, back when I ordered the service. They told me to send $20 and avoid shut off. I did, but they shut it off anyway, then I never heard another thing from them until today, a Sunday when the bank is closed and I am powerless, that Direct TV stole $335.51 right out of my bank account without my consent or knowledge. It caused me to go overdrawn and incur $128.00 in overdraft fees. They have caused total financial devastation to me by stealing all the money right out of my personal checking account, completely unauthorized. When I called, they refused to do anything about it, except refund $44.00 of what they stole, if I return the receiver. The rest was stolen.
