Flew into London Heathrow on 26 January. Made a call to South Africa at pay phone in Terminal 5. Reached voice mail so I hung up immediately. Returned through Heathrow on Jan 30. Made another all to South Africa. This time via operator. Made a 2 min call. On the payphone the rates given are $2 per min plus a $2 connection charge. At no time did the operator give me the rates. On return to SA I had three charges on my card from BBG Communications. One for ZAR 278.18, one for 417.79 and my bank informed me there was another amount of R8 also charged by BBG. (The $1 = R9). I see this company is being sued in the US for alleged fleecing of US service men and women in similar circumstances. See the folllowing article. (Content Removed)
