To Whom It May Concern:
It seems that Budget Car Rental and Costco Travel have no coordination of effort and the Budget rep seems to cast aspersions on Costco Travel and the pitfalls of renting a vehicle through them. First, Costco Travel almost destroyed my trip by booking the wrong travel and rental date with Budget and nearly left me abandoned at the Charleston Airport! Upon arrival from Long Island MacArthur Airport, Islip NY I approached the Budget Rental the rep bamboozled me and did not honor my reservation by boosting the charge from $300 to $900 I balked at the $900 and the clerk thought he was doing me a favor by giving me the reservation at $800 on a Nissan Murano when I reserved a Ford Escape. I was so disgusted with the whole affair I returned the Nissan on 01/25 and took my business to Enterprise a hassle free and more economical reservation. Be advised this is my first and last business with either Budget or Costco Travel.
