Los Angeles California based rapper Brian Todd Collins aka Kid Ink
breached a performance contract by not providing an audio or video drop to the show producers. The show producers were repeatedly told that he would provide one or the other but neither came through which for this international concert date cost the credibility of the concert really taking place in the eyes of the public. As a consequence of this breach, the show sold nearly no tickets and the artist did not perform at the venue. The artist, who demanded to be paid in full due to the international location not only breached the contract but with the option to rectify his financially devastating contractual breach initially agreed to reschedule the date and then switched his position saying he would not do a reschedule for the promoter and walked away with the entire performance fee, having incurred over $5000 in flight, hotel & ground transport fees alone, the venue was expecting 800 to 1000 people and didn't sell any tickets due to Kid Ink's failure to provide video or audio drop as contractually agreed upon. A lawsuit is pending and promoters are advised to not provide this artist with any deposit or payments until all contractual obligations are satisfied. This artist is irresponsible and disregards terms in contract to the promoters detriment. Beware.
The booking agent Erin Wischmann of progressive entertainment secured the contract with the artist at a lower rate via ICM and sold it for a higher rate to the promoter. (In addition to his booking fee) Erin assured the promoters that they would receive the drop but they never did. Then he assured them that the artist would agree to reschedule but he did not.
