A 'free trial' offer was posted on the internet in several locations concerning their product. It clearly stated that you only had to pay S/H of $5.95. I placed an order on Nov 29 to try their product.
I was advised by my doctor I could not take the medicine, so I put it away.
First, I received a second shipment 1/4, wtih a charge of $85.36. I called, saying I had not ordered it, that I was unable to take their product. They told me to return the second shipment and they credited me with the charge of the $79.41, which did not include the S&H. It had cost me another $4.6 to send it back.
I received my credit card statement Saturday, Jan 19, and discovered they had charged me $79.41 for the first shipment. I called today, Jan 21, and was informed they had put on the offer that it was a 14-day trial offer and should be returned if did not like or you would be charged. Nowhere did they show the cost of the product at all. Maybe they did add the statement about returning, but it must have been in the obscure, small writing somewhere on the offer.
I just want to say that the whole business is a scam, taking money from people like me who are old and on a fixed income. My husband and I have never been scammed before as we are very careful, but I sure got scammed on this and I think other unsuspecting victims need to be aware of it.
