My husband is new customer of DirectTV. I was dialing AT&T to cancel their service, when someone was on the line congratulating me as a New Customer, eligible for a $100 Walmart Gift card and needed my credit card # to process.
Followed by insising that I stay on the line and participate in 3 more poromotions until I was able to get a Verification # that would be necessary to cancel. I kept telling him I did not want to participate and was very unhappy with them. The Indian accent speaking person kept insisting I could cancel with the Verification#.
This is noting but a swindle
