Don't waste your money with this company. I haven't found one thing truthful about the person who runs it, nor their activities!

When you send an inquiry to this company through RedSkelton.com, you will get a letter back from William Mett. First, I will go over William Mett's character. William Mett was previously the owner of Center Arts Gallery in Hawaii. He scammed people out of millions of dollars selling fraudulent art, which he was convicted and went to federal prison for. Google him, there is a nice little article about him http://www.dalifraud.com/part3.html. When he got out of prison, he was then sentenced to more prison time, because he embezzled millions of dollars from his own employee's pension fund. Nice guy huh? Not only does he not care about scamming people, but he even stooped so low to embezzle from his own employees! You think he cares about "scamming" you out of a few hundred for a Certificate of Authenticity? I use the word scam, b/c in my opinion, he is not honest. He is preying on consumer stupidity. Consumer being older generation, who usually don't have much computer skills to do their own research like I am laying out for you. Oh, he also signs everything Dr. William Mett. Ask him what kind of Doctor he is? And where did he get his doctorate degree. I'd be curious about this.

Now, he is running another business under a different business name. Art Corporation of America / RedSkelton.com, which evaluates Red Skelton art for Certificates of Authenticity... Probably the same art he originally sold to you anyway. So this email you get in reply to your inquiry, says "you have a very valuable piece of art". He then proceeds in telling you how Red Skelton art work has become very valuable over the years. Try sending him several different inquiries through the Red Skelton website... Each inquiry with a different painting and see what the response is. I am betting every piece of art is "very valuable". He also outlines how he has managed Red skelton, his estate and widow, Lothian, for many years (40 year I think?). He is trying to establish himself the ultimate authority and expert of Red Skelton art here... Ask him if he were such an expert, wouldn't he know that Red Skelton art has not become very valuable over the years? It has, in fact, declined tremendously, considering no one even know who Red Skelton is anymore. Red Skelton fans are a dying breed. You don't believe me? Look on ebay and see what it is being sold for, not just listed and not being bought, but stuff that has ACTUALLY SOLD. I will warn you, in the art industry, there are a few websites that are catered to over valuing artwork, just so a noneducated art person will think they're getting a "deal" when they see the exact same thing for half price, but these websites are not realistic prices. This is a known practice in the art world. Ask around.

This William Mett, charges $150-$300 per print / original. If you choose to buy this service, you will get this Certificate of Authenticity, with one of those unrealistic values for your Red Skelton art. This is obvious by looking at what his clients are trying to sell their Red Skelton art work for under the courtesy resale section on RedSkelton.com. Some of the originals are being listed at over $100,000!!! These are high hopes for sure. Once again, compare the prints on RedSkelton.com to Ebay.

Then he charges $75 to list your Red Skelton artwork on a site that barely gets any traffic. Ask him how your art work will sell, if they only get less than 10 hits a day (bizinformation.com. My/www.redskelton.com) As another reviewer recommended, write down the prints under the courtesy resale section and go back 6 months later and see if any of them have sold... Enough said about this. If he tells you the website gets hundreds of thousands of viewers or millions of people from all over the world, ask for proof, ask him to ask his "webmaster" to print this information out for you...

I have found nothing about this man or business to be honest. I am hoping to spread the word so he can't take anymore money from innocent people. He has scammed enough people!
