The same thing happened to me recently-read below-complaint 182838; does anyone know if this company (live-technician.com) is legitimate or not? I don't know if my computer/email accts are really protected or not from hackers?
I guess I feel better knowing that "complaint #182838" took his computer to Geeksquad and Geeksquad confirmed that the damage done to his PC and gmail was done by LiveTechnicians.com.
Any comments or help is greatly appreciated, Thank you.

Do not use live technicians.com. They go into your computer and convince you that you have been scammed and that a hacker is 85% finished copying everything in your pc
They tell you that every computer on a home network is compromised and try to charge you a fee for every computer that uses that net work
The information they give keeps changing. And they suck you in such that you cannot get out. I should have trusted my instincts and dropped them from the beginning but I am leaving the US tomorrow and today is Black Friday so I was stuck.By the end of the session Live Techs had wiped out all of my gmail nd contacts.
Out of desperation I went to the geek squad at best buy and they were wonderful. They confirmed that the damage done to my PC and gmail was done by LiveTechnicians.com
Never use liveTechnicians.com no matter how desperate you are. It is a total rip off. They lie and tell you that they are in Las Vegas. Not true. They are all Indians with fake Western names
